Part 1:


Where is your home?
Do you live in a house or a flat?
Who do you live with?
Are there many rooms in your home?
What is your favourite room?
How are the walls decorated?
What would you change about your home?
Do you plan to live there in the future?
What facilities are there near your home?
What is your neighbourhood like?
Do most people live in houses in your country?

Part 2:

Describe a time of the day you like.

You should say:

  • what time of day it is

  • what you do at that time

  • who you are usually with

  • and explain why you like it.

1. Quick Review of the Test Format:
  • The Speaking test has three parts:

    1. Part 1 (Introduction & Interview): General questions about yourself and familiar topics (4-5 minutes).

    2. Part 2 (Long Turn): Speak for 1-2 minutes on a given topic with 1 minute to prepare.

    3. Part 3 (Discussion): A two-way discussion on abstract or complex topics related to Part 2 (4-5 minutes).

Part 3:
  • What are popular small businesses in your country?

  • What kinds of products does your country produce?

  • Do you think it’s important to purchase products from your own country rather than from abroad?
